Three free AI tools for everyday work with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and image models.

Each one is built on official sources and kept up to date: a token counter, a tracker of plan limits and a library of sourced prompts.

Token counter

The token counter counts tokens, words and characters in any text with OpenAI’s o200k_base and cl100k_base tokenizers. It runs in your browser, so the text you paste stays on your device. Use it to check whether a long prompt or document fits a model’s context window, or to estimate API input before you send it. For Claude and Gemini, the page links to the vendors’ own token-counting tools, since they use different tokenizers.

AI plan limits tracker

The limits tracker lists what each plan of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Midjourney lets you use: message and usage limits, reset windows, image and video allowances, context sizes and prices. Every listing is condensed from the vendor’s own help center or pricing page, links to it and shows the date it was last checked. Start with ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro or Google AI Pro, or read the explainers on ChatGPT Free, Claude Pro and Gemini limits.

Prompt library

The prompt library holds copy-ready prompts for Gemini and Nano Banana, ChatGPT Images, Midjourney, Veo, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, filterable by model and task. Each prompt is quoted from an official example or a credited public post, with a link to the source. For how to write your own, see the guides to Gemini photo prompts, ChatGPT image prompts, Veo 3 prompts and Midjourney parameters.

When something breaks

If ChatGPT or another tool shows an error, the ChatGPT error messages hub explains each message and the steps to try.
