What Promptline collects when you read the site, use its tools or write to us.
This policy covers promptline.net. It explains visit analytics, messages sent through our contact form, text processed by the token counter and content embedded from other platforms, with links to the relevant tools and contact page.
Visit statistics
Promptline measures how the site is used with first-party analytics built into the publishing platform that runs the site. The site also uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and interactions. Google processes information under its own privacy policy. Google Analytics currently loads without a site consent banner. The statistics record, for each visit:
- the pages viewed and how far they were read;
- where the visit came from (the referring site or search engine);
- general browser and device information;
- page loading performance;
- searches made with the site’s own search box;
- links followed to other sites;
- pages that returned “not found”.
We use these figures in aggregate to see which pages are useful, fix broken links and improve the site. We do not use them to build profiles of individual readers or sell them.
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic, any link you included and your message. We use them only to answer you and, for corrections, to check and fix the page concerned. Messages are kept as long as needed for that and are not shared with third parties.
Tools
The token counter runs in your browser. The text you paste is counted on your device and is not sent to Promptline.
Embedded content
Some pages embed posts from X, Reddit, Instagram, Threads or YouTube. These embeds load from the platforms’ own servers, which may set cookies and collect information under their own privacy policies.
Outbound links
When you follow a link to another site, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete a message you sent us. Write through the contact form and mention the email address you used.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
