Claude brand-guidelines skill: a template for your own brand

The Claude brand-guidelines skill’s SKILL.md applies Anthropic’s official brand colors and typography to artifacts that should have Anthropic’s look and feel, and tells Claude to use it when brand colors, style guidelines, visual formatting or company design standards apply. Its wider use is as a pattern: copy its structure and you have a starting point for a skill that carries your own company’s brand.

As published, the skill lists four main colors (dark #141413, light #faf9f5, mid gray #b0aea5 and light gray #e8e6dc) and three accents (orange #d97757, blue #6a9bcc and green #788c5d). Headings of 24 pt and larger use Poppins and body text uses Lora, with Arial and Georgia as fallbacks when those fonts are not installed. Shapes that are not text cycle through the accent colors, and colors are applied through the python-pptx library.

Anthropic’s skills README names documents that follow your company’s brand guidelines as a typical use of skills. To make your own, replace the palette, fonts and rules with yours, package the folder as a ZIP file and upload it in Customize > Skills (Use skills in Claude); the skill-creator skill can help write and test it. The original is part of the example-skills plugin from Anthropic’s skills repository, and in the Claude apps example skills are turned on in Customize > Skills with Code execution and file creation enabled.
