skill-creator walks you through making a Claude skill: it asks what the skill should do and when it should trigger, drafts the SKILL.md file, writes a few test prompts, runs them and helps you judge the results. Its description says to use it to create a skill from scratch, edit or optimize an existing one, run evals, benchmark a skill with variance analysis, or tune a skill’s description so it triggers at the right moments.
It is one of Anthropic’s example skills, which you switch on in the Claude apps under Customize > Skills once Code execution and file creation is on (Use skills in Claude). The skill it helps you build is a folder with a SKILL.md file; package the folder as a ZIP and upload it in the same Skills screen. Anthropic also lists skill-creator on its own in the official Claude Code plugin marketplace.
